Payment Methods Accepted
We process all of our online credit card transactions through PayPal, one of the industry leaders in safe and secure online transactions.

Should you wish to place your order over the phone, you can call us between the hours of 7.00pm (GMT) and 9.30pm (GMT), Monday to Friday. Please have your details to hand, including your order request when making a call. Our contact telephone number is (+44) 01246 270090.
We also accept Cheques and Postal Orders, made payable to Lancasters Armourie Ltd. Please note, there will be a slight delay in the process if a cheque is used as payment. This delay will be 5 working days from reciept of the cheque (the current UK banking cheque clearance period). If you do wish to pay by cheque or Postal Order, please first contact us with details of your order, so that we can establish the added Postage & Packing fees. We will then inform you of the total price to pay, including any relevant P&P, which should then be sent to us at our Postal Address (found on the Contact Page).
PayPal Processing
You do not need to be a PayPal customer in order to purchase from us, as non-PayPal members can also process thier Credit and Debit Cards using the secure servers based at PayPal. There is no fee at all for people to use this service (we pay that for you), and no surcharge for VAT added to the end of the checkout process.
For payments made with a Credit or Debit Card, please click on the the "Continue" button on the Checkout screen (indicated below). For payments made with a PayPal account, please enter your user details in the space provided on the Checkout screen (indicated below).

Please note, you DO NOT have to become a PayPal member to purchase from us. You may be asked if you would like to become a member during the chekout process, but this is not a neccessity of our checkout service. However, if you do wish to become a member of PayPal, then you only need to enter a few extra details to have an account safely ans securely set up.
Security
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to PayPal, thier server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers.
We (Lancasters Armourie) do not recieve your Credit or Debit Card numbers, this information is only avaiable to authorised PayPal employees. As a result, you have the added security of knowing that your information is not being passed around between computers over the Internet, where it is under the threat of theft.
Extra Information
Please make sure that your details are entered correctly during the Checkout Process, as incorrect information can lead to lengthy delays in deliveries.
