Lancasters Armourie
Customer Feedback
Over the years Lancasters Armourie has had many clientelle, far too many for us to count, but each one has had the same level of excellent, personal service. Every blade, every piece of armour, in fact everything we sell, has been lovingly made to the highest exacting standards, regardless of who they are for.
Over the years we have also received many unsolicited emails from our customers, thanking us for a great product and showing their gratitude towards our service.
Most of our customers know someone else that uses our equipment, and as such have seen first hand the quality of our arms and armour. For those that haven't, we give you our Feedback page. Below are just a few examples of the hundreds of emails we receive.
Hi Roger
I'm just writing to thank you for the flambard, it is a beautiful piece of kit and handles like a 5ft Rapier.
Having heard other reenactors complain about softer steel than En45 I have to say I was mightily impressed when I failed to find a single knick worthy of my breaking out the hammer after a good 3 hours fighting against harder blades, Armour-class and Paul Binns for the most part.
So once again many thanks and keep up the excellent work!

Many thanks for the gauntlets, which arrived yesterday. The fit and
finish are absolutely spot on and the gloves you suggested are perfect
underneath.
I shall probably be living in these for the next few weeks. Hopefully,
it won't be too long before I can try them out in the heat of battle!
I shall certainly recommend you to anyone else requiring pieces of
armour and may well be back later in the year to sort out a pair of legs
myself.
Many thanks for your help.
Just thought you like to hear about my sword...
I gave it a full field test this weekend, with a total fighting time of
about 9 hours. I faced swords made my Heron Armoury, Phil Fraser and some
Polish guys. Not a single problem. For nine hours fighting, I would have
expected a lot more shipping and burring of the edge, so I was amazed to
see how little 'damage' the blade suffered!! As a reference, we do put our
weapons to the limit in our practice, hitting full speed and full power.
This may seem a touch reckless from a safety point of view but these are
medieval techniques designed to sever limbs in one sweep so the only way to
be sure the defences are being done correctly is to guard against an attack
that is that powerful.
I'm happy to say that Lancaster's weapons are
definitely up to the job!!
So yeah, all told, that is one fantastic weapon!!
If that wasn't enough, It's going to get another nine hours this coming
weekend too as we have another Seminar running!!
We'll be getting a lot more into steel combat throughout 2006 so I'll let
you know how things hold up :-D
Thanks again,
Woody

Got it! Absolutely perfect :) I can't thank you enough for managing to get this sorted - You're my favourite swordsmith :)
Regards,
Matt

Padded that Sugarloaf and put it through its paces at the weekend. You will be pleased to know that a 6'4" Marine commando with a mace belted me and hardly dented it. (i didn't feel a thing) Roll on the caldicot touney.

Oh itīs christmas :))
I really love your sword. Coming home from a long week of work, one of the most relaxing things is getting the sword and doing some exercises. My next sword (a short one) will be a "rogers" one.
